Kochi: The agreement between munipal corporation and the contractor in Brahmapuram waste
plant is a commody?. The agreement says that the municipality is responsible in case a fire breaks
out in Brahmapuram. The contractor “STAR CONSULTANCY” is only liable for damages sustained if
an accident occurs in the building housing treatment plant. However, the contractor is liable to pay
compensation if any employee is hurt in an accident.
